Mr. Hockert was recently awarded the MFTA designation through the International Federation of Technical Analysts. Additionally his thesis paper "Momentum of Relative Strength (MoRS): an additional tool for relative strength investors" will be published in the 2016 IFTA Journal. Mr. Hockert was also awarded the CMT designation in 2008 by conducting original research and writing a 20 page industry research paper titled Dynamic Sector and Intermarket Asset Allocation: “The Implications of Buying Stock Market Winners and Selling Stock Market Losers”. He is a frequent speaker and has presented the benefits of quantitative technical analysis to the Minnesota MTA chapter, the national Market Technicians Association via webcast and various universities in the upper Midwest. Kevin also is also Podcast interviewer on behalf of the MTA and has the privilege of interviewing many of the top technical analysts in the country.
